About

In these books we present and explain the basic concepts of object-oriented programming, using the Java language to express them in concrete programs. We also present solved problems described in details and further problems to be solved. These are the main references written in the Romanian language for the Object-Oriented Programming course held at the Computers and Information Technology Department, Faculty of Automation and Computers, Politehnica University of Timisoara, Romania. Thus, we also introduce some other Java aspects that are necessary for our students at further disciplines of the same department.

Thoughts From Some Readers

I am pleased to make known to all of you the best textbook on object-oriented programming intro in Romanian language as far as I know. Why am I saying this? Because after teaching Java for 15 years, this resource have proved to provide the steepest learning curve with junior students. I hope your journey through these pages will provide you with moments of joy and delight as my students and myself have. - Lecturer Dr. Emanuel Țundrea
